From Extropia
Part of Extropia's covenant states that buildings must not only follow our theme but should be built in accordance to national planning permissions. Much of Extropia's activity takes place at ground level, however the skies are available to residents too and it is our responsibility to ensure that citizens and visitors alike can enjoy a clutter-free experience if they choose to look skyward.
Landmarks to consider
- Sea level is at 20m.
- Pathways and roads are built at anywhere between 20 and 22m in city space.
- Neovenice is suspended at 25m high.
- The Central Nexus, Extropia's tallest building, rises to 120m at its domed tip.
- Neoaerovenice is suspended at 240m.
Second Life has its own little visual quirks when at different heights, too. This is what has been observed so far since Havok4's rollout:
- Our own megaprim Earth comes into view on the minimap at 300m, dominating all building markers below it.
- At 1000m, the standard sea which makes up the Grid's own planetary surface fades from view.
- At 1300m, our megaprim Earth will fade from view, leaving black void to a starry horizon.
