From Extropia
Its literary culture was the stringest of Extropia's cultural expressions right from the start. Much of what Extropia stands for aligns with pulp fiction writings of the 1950s, and the legacy of many of these writers has become hot discussion in its book clubs and libraries.

Authors
Extropia encourages the development of science fiction with a local flavour and is looking at ways to try and publish such works in-world for the appreciation of its citizens. As this scheme is developed we will include details here.
Venues
Extropia will become home to the Digital People's Library, a building devoted to the authors, novels and fictional creativity that unite us. At present, its centre for all things bookish lies in the Central Nexus. There, the Extropia Book Club meets to discuss a new book each week, and the room is intended as a casual hangout lounge with a small selection of titles to browse through.
Organisations
Extropia Book Club is Extropia's premiere society for reading and is so far its only one. The society was formed in March 2008 by Vidal Tripsa, intent of encouraging the reading of one book a week which the group could the discuss and field ideas from. The club has since grown to sponsor fiction-related events in Extropia, such as guest authors and festivals for the written word abroad.
